| Abby is a little (and I do mean 'little' , full grown and still only 9lbs!!) Shih Tsu . Deb, our daughter, bought her four or five years ago , when sharing our house, and so Abby became a frequent visitor to our downstairs suite. She loved playing with Candy and found her to be a very tolerant friend. Although Abby jumped on, nipped around her ears and mouth, chewed on her tail....Candy never showed any animosity toward this little upstart of a pup. After having enough of the roughhousing little beast, Candy would either push her away with her front paws...or, simply hold Abby down with one very solid paw!! It was an amusing sight to see...Abby wiggling around to get away, and Candy just looking around as if she had no idea that Abs was 'underfoot'!!Quite the comedy. | |||
| Over the years these two became the best of friends, and Abby was spending more and more time with us all. We played with them both in the yard, walked both of them at the same times. Generally speaking Abby was a 'big' part of our little family. ` | |||
| So, when Deb was planning to move into a condo, and also planned to do a lot of travelling (on the back of a motorcycle no less) it was a no-brainer that we would legally adopt Abs. Deb was all for it as she knew that Abby would have 24/7 company, a fourlegged companion who adored her, and a couple of 'two-leggeds' who loved her a lot. So, the deed was done and Abby became a 'Marshall' for the rest of time! She seems to be quite happy with the arrangement, though equally happy and excited when her previous family members come to visit. She, quite literally, has it made. Talk about a dog's life. | |||
